My first full-time design job

Eighteen months in fintech, and a crazy experience.

I worked directly with the founder and the head of product — small enough that decisions happened in conversation rather than in process.

I designed across three markets — the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Bahrain — for both Arabic and English users. I built a lot of features, built the design system from scratch (tokens, variables, components — nothing existed before it), and learned a great deal about how fintech actually works.

Good people, real ownership, and the place I learned the most.
